In addition to its other Veterans Administration projects, The Hamstra Group is currently working on two outpatient clinics
in Las Vegas, Nevada. The structural
steel and masonry buildings, scheduled
for completion in 2011, are each about
36,000 square feet and will provide
outpatient facilities to support the soon-to-open million-square-foot VA hospital
being built in Las Vegas. The new
buildings, designed by PHArchitecture in
Scottsdale, Arizona (
www.pharchitecture.com), will offer additional medical services
in a mushrooming community of retired
veterans centered in and around Las Vegas.
Project manager Eric Carlson believes
the Veterans Administration has given The Hamstra Group an opportunity to “do what
we do best.”
